  2. in japan its a suffix added to to the end of a persons name to show respect like in english we add mr or mrs but chan is just a Japanese suffix like kun, san,sensi example of how it can be use:sensi is for teachers and san is for like adults  and kun and chan are for like kids

    example of names with use of it: Sakura-chan, Neko-san, Sasuke-kun and when you adress your teacher you can say there name and then sensi or just sensi
