What does cockroach f***s look like?

Question

We are new to a subtropical climate and unfamiliar with roaches. We've been finding small black smearings on our carpet and I'm suspecting it could be cockroach f***s that we've stepped on and smeared. I've found small black, slightly greasy objects and don't know where they're coming from. Do these sound like roach droppings? Anyone had this problem before and if so, how should I fix it?

cockroach droppings are very small and hard so they dont smear. so i think its mouse droppings your seeing

I've seen this happen in one house. It was extremely infested with Oriental Roaches (aka water-bugs). They get rather large, have a segmented abdomen and are dark brown (even reddish) to black in color. Their f***s can also look like pepper on a hard surface, but I have seen it as a smear too. I would recommend hiring a professional.

sounds more like mouse droppings to me.never heard of cockroaches droppings before.

what you are finding sounds like it could be the eggs sac .   almost square and about as big as a watermelon seed.

After the babies hatch they get  dry and brittle. One way to check if you have roaches is to flip your kitchen light on in the middle of the night, if you have them you should see them running for cover.

the outdoor species of roaches will have droppings actually larger than mouse and if it is feeding in a moist environment the droppings easily smear or have a diarrhea look to them

hey dude i live in Tx i dont have much roachs but the ones i do have are huge!!!! there p**p are like little pellets that are usally in corners/mounds it dosent sound like roaches mabye its somthing els
