  1. cognitive = thinking. Any thing do with thinking skills. So, problem solving, memory recall, recognition, prediction, wondering etc.

    Ethical = very similar to moral development. Behavioural choices, understanding, non-bias, non-stereotypical etc.


  2. Children need to have cognitive (thinking) skills in order to understand ethics (or morals, or what is right and wrong). Cognitive development is crucial to ethical development.

  3. Cognitive are academic abilities..can the child read, can the child add..Ethical are more behavioral abilities, Does the child know right from wrong, does the child knows when someone is sad..feelings and things like that
