Used green tea bags(when cooled)are excellent for your eyes.Just lay back and apply a tea bag to each eye for 15 minutes. You can then compost them in your compost bin.You should just tear them apart before you compost, makes your compost nice and loamy

  1. If you are a gardener compost is wonderful stuff!

You put all your plant trimmings, dead plants, kitchen food waste (including tea bags!) into a pile in a far corner of your garden.

Keep the pile topped up regularly and after a few months the stuff at the bottom rots down to a brownish, odourless, fiberous stuff that dug lightly into your soil is wonderful for your plants.

  2. compost is mixture of natural organic items that will rot:  egg shells, banana peels, skins from oranges, apples, potatoes, etc. plus tea & coffee grounds, leaves, etc...  Avoid meat/blood.  Otherwise, stuff that grew from trees, bushes, egg shells from chickens, from beans (coffee), vegetable skins.  Leaves from trees, etc..

Organic items that rot = compost.

Natural compost enrichens soil for larger, healthier vegetation.
