  3. Thoughts

  4. Concept is an abstract idea or a mental symbol, typically associated with a corresponding representation in a language or symbolic.

It is a general idea derived or inferred from specific instances or occurrences. Something formed in the mind; a thought or notion. It is a scheme or plan

  5. A concept (singular) is a mental construct. It's an idea. It can be something that doesn't actually exist outside of the mind. For example 'racism'. Yes of course people can be prejudiced against others of a different colour or origin, but the reason people are racist is based solely on mental constructions and value judgments which have no basis in reality. Racism is not a tangible thing you can touch, it's a chain of ideas and actions that depend solely on a value judgment. You could say to be racist is to apply a value judgement and so the accusation is also racist. For example I could not be racist to my brother or to someone of the same race therefore it requires a concept of being different.
