someone i know took a drug test and passed everything except cre. what does that mean

  1. I'm not familiar with the acronym "cre," generally creatinine is simply abbreviated as Cr.


  2. creatinine, its a normal product of metabolism and is related to how dilute the urine is (your friend might not have registered creatinine if she intentionally watered down her urine before the test).  In short, its not a drug, and not "passing" the creatinine screening just means that it showed up in the screening, which is normal.

  3. Depending on which criteria are being used to interpret the drug test, then not having the acceptable levels of Creatinine in the urine can make the results equivicle. Some employers will require a repeat test to get a more valid result. If they believe there was any tampering and the result is not consistent with human urine they may require a witness urination for the next test. That's comfortable, having to pee on command in front of a witness!

  4. Yeah, anyone who doesn't pass the CRE is screwed.

    It's the worst section to miss.
