  1. This sounds like a multi size pattern of 4 different sizes.

    The 1st one is the smallest....going to the largest size.

    Size A.....decrease    2 stitches

    Size B......"""""""       1   '    '

    Size C...."""""""         6 stitches

    Size D...."""""            2 stitches


  2. I'd need to know exactly what the instructions are for the whole row say and the previous row, as "decrease stitch 2-1-6-2" isn't a normal knitting term.  They want you to decrease, but just where isn't clear without more information.
