What does delivery hub mean?

I just got item from Korea and I was tracking it and it said it was at delivery hub ^^;; I was wondering what is this?

If it is via USPS it will be at the service center your mail is distributed out of.

Oops, just noticed that you are posting on the Sydney board.  I would think it is close to the same thing as it is here in the US.

It is a location in between destinations, where items are grouped together, waiting for the next plane,train, truck(whatever transportation mode is being used) to continue on to the same basic area together.

Example: They are not going to send 1 item

(a watch) to London from NY they will group it with several other items that are also being shipped to London from NY.

Hope that helps. Just because they are making it "worth the trip" doesn't mean it takes along time, it is just waiting on its "connecting flight"
