What does discharge look like??

well i havent had my period yet but ive been havings signs kinda and every time i go to the bath room i look at my underwear and theres like a white gooy looking stuff is it discharge???

There is an amazingly good book by Toni Weschler called Taking Charge of Your Fertility.  It can teach women so much about their bodies and their cycles including the different types of discharge and when it comes in relation to your period.  It's so informative I think every woman should read it.

It could be trichomonas

This is treated with medication and you can't drink alcohol with the meds

Sweetie, pay no attention to the first answer.  It is COMPLETELY normal and usually nothing to worry about.  If it continues, see the school nurse.  Don't be embarrassed - nurses have seen it all.

It may perhaps be a discharge assoiated with ovulation or just a premenstrual white discharge.You may take it as normal and await your periods.

Yes. That's discharge.

Yes, that would be discharge... make sure it does not smell, otherwise if it does it is an infection... Take care of it early...

yes it is. as long as it's not yellow or brown in colour, it is normal.
