What does dreaming about Demons trying to posses my soul or kill me mean?

Ive had re-occurring dreams of demonic people or spirits trying to kill me or posses me and they feel very lucid or "real" in them (pretty scary feeling) and I would like to know what they might mean??

You are being tormented in your sleep. There are what is referred to as open doors. An open door in your life is an area in your life where you essentially are an open invitation to one or more spirit of darkness.

Pray to God. Tell him you understand now that there is something you have let into your life that you shouldn't have, and ask God to show you specifically what it is, that needs to go and you can tell God you are sorry and renounce whatever it is in the name of Jesus, and by the blood of the Lamb, whatever it is. Somehow you are intentionally giving the darkness a foothold in your life.

Do you have something in your home ( certain kinds of books, music, movies ), or is there a certain activity ( or more than one ) that needs to be dropped like a hot potato ( there could be more than one answer of course )? But I feel as though there is something very, very specific that God would want to point out to you. Please ask him what it is. I am praying too, that God will show you where you are giving those demons permission to torment you, even if you didn't know that's what you were doing. Steer away from any activities involving the occult especially, such as occult games, horoscopes and the like.

One girl had a certain necklace on that someone gave her, she didn't know she was wearing an occult symbol.  So we even have to steer away from things like that. God bless you and may you ask with an honest heart, and be expecting God to reveal it to you if you haven't already recognized the source. And steer away from any relationships with people who have occult attachments as well. I hope this truly helps. By the way if you own any of these kinds of items ( it can even be a statue ) destroy them and rid yourself of them!

You might be feeling vulerable because in real life you don't have the control over life's situations that you need to feel secure.  Simply, you may be perceiving your environment is superceding your desired control over your intended actions.

If you choose a spiritual understanding of your dreams; dreaming about demons might be a connection you are sharing with other people whom are attempting to gain access to a permanent place in your mind.  There are thousands of people who are trying to develop a place for their soul in other people's minds (demons).

I believe the soul is pervasive, regardless of what religion you believe, or don't believe in.

The Soul is manifest involving Quantum Entanglement, a process that occurs at the nuclear level.  Simply, it allows two atoms to be connected to one another, instantaneously, even across the Universe.  Albert Einstein called it "Spooky action at a distance".

This process allows our minds to be connected, and the minds of animals other than human as well; connected together all during our lifetimes.  The connection between family and friends is much stronger than amongst other relationships.

Try to imagine the consequences of having thousands of atoms within your brain toggling as a result of another person's thoughts.  Your brain has many trillions of brain cells, so this influence would be largely imperceptable; except you would have influences in your subconcious thoughts.

This would potentially explain telepathy, ghosts, precognition, and those feelings between family, especially twins.

Demon's are persons who attempt to steal the space in other people's minds for a larger place for their own soul.  So anyone who attempts to be given reverence over the deciples own family and loved ones, are demons.

But that is just one perspective; I haven't found one that makes more sense.
