What does dreaming about dying during childbirth mean?

My girlfriend keeps having recurring dreams about dying during the birth of our daughter. Is this dream prophetic or symbolic? I read about how both birth and dying mean a great change, and that's what I hope it is, but she's worried it may be prophetic and it's telling her something will go wrong. Should we be worried?

Dreams (when one can recall them) are the same as thoughts as we have during consciousness.  This dream that she is having reflects a fear of this happening, not necessarily an omen of any kind.

Nothing to worry about at all....maybe she is just afraid of childbirth alot of people are it is a scary thing and painful too maybe you should talk to her and see how she feels about childbirth maybe her dream is just making her realize how afraid she really is .

Do not worry ; your fiance will not die during the time she will given birth ; she has this dream because she is afraid for her baby and also because her life will change a lot with a young baby ; so she is afraid of loosing her freedom
