I've been having dreams (not necessarily the same one) where I am in a huge, empty house. The house is usually a little run-down and feels abandoned. It feels like I live there, but it is empty of not only people, but furniture as well.

  1. It sounds as though you may be lonely.  Why don't you join a club or a hobby group?

  2. Your dream suggests that you feel some emptiness in your personal life although it does not indicate that you are necessarily insecure about it.

The run-down emptiness has more to do with a lack of seeing others or manifest goodness ahead in life.  The house itself though does represent a basic form of security, if bland.  The lack of furnishings suggests some lack of confidence in realizing attainments - comforts that won't come your way.

Such a dream should not be regarded as one to forecast where you are truly headed at all.  More likely it is a subconscious alert that would coax you to consider more carefully what it is you want from life and therefore how better to go about gaining that.  How you pursue and accept friendships, what career choices you make - many such things may weigh on you a bit and you would of course want to make smart decisions that can help lead you to happiness.

You would have to decide how these observations may fit your circumstance, but what you have shared does suggest these kinds of drivers.  Hopefully some of this may help in your understanding.

    All the best to you.
