What does eba stand for in australia..is it something builders association?????

AN EBA is short for Enterprise Bargain Agreement.Under the new industrial legislation it supposedly replaces trade union aagreements where workers,instead of the unions negotiating conditions of work,pay etc the individual employee does the negotiating in theory. It works in theory but not in practice and many employers seem to be taking advantage of it to the detriment of their employees overall welfare
