What does employer provided medical insurance generally cover for women?

am a female emploee in dubai. my company provides me medical insurance. what ailments does this cover?does it cover maternity expenses and related check ups before and after deluvery as well?

In the US group health policies do include maternity coverage but because you are in Dubai the provisions of your group coverage may or may not provide maternity. If you received a coverage booklet it should not be difficult to determine the coverage you have (if any). If you are still unsure talk to the person in charge of employee benefits in your company. If that is not possible then have your policy or group number ready and call the company directly.

It is not possible to generalize about employer-provided insurance policies.  You should check with the employer's HR department and/or read the booklet that describes coverage in detail.
