Any thoughts on this?

Personally, I think it's a load of baloney. That guy is full of it!

  1. Could it be that scientist has caught on to what God is doing? Separating His Sheep from the goats and He is preparing each group for their place of eternal destiny?

  2. ahahaha. wow, this seriously cracks me up.

    this guy is insane.

anyway, i've heard another theory before, that in many years from now that eventually there will only be one race.

because of all the inter-racial marriages, we'll all end up looking alike. Therefore there will be one dominant race, no African, Italians, Irish,Spanish, Indians, just one huge mix of everything. (haha it would solve our racial problems) Which makes sense to a point, i wouldnt be surprised if that happened but whatever...

  3. The guy obviously has been reading too many science fiction books! He gives scientists a bad name. He is not a scientist, he is a science fictionist.

And the website must have a lot of nasty comments because the "type the word in the box" feature to post a comment doesn't work either. Haha.

  4. I agree that it is baloney.  The main reason is that ugly people have attractive children.  There is no actual separation of populations.  Even class systems are unlikely to last long enough to have evolutionary significance.

  5. Actually, all these answers, but a few, miss the point entirely. The sexual selection theory of human evolution has been around since the time of Darwin. You people here need an evolutionary refresher. The truth does not care what you think, questioner. I think, and from scientific training, that he is in advance of his facts, but this ideological response is in line with the social science section.

  6. Just when you thought it couldn't get any dumber...........

  7. That's ridiculous, anyone in half their right mind can predict, that we will be between 6 and 7 feet tall and live 120 years due to the fact of what medicine can do today to prolong life. And the reason why people are getting taller , because of all the steroids that we are forced to eat in the meats that they sell at the supermarket. It really doesn't take a college degree to figure that out.

And the racial division will never take place , because when you look around, you will see, that opposites still attract.

  8. I just read that article and I think he is full of it - he has read way too much strange science fiction/alternate history books and articles but everyone is entitled to their opinions, even the crackpots.

  9. Honestly when I first read the headline, I was intrigued. But as I read, as the article stated, I saw that it looked just like the guy had read "Time machine" by H.G.Wells. I think that in another thousand years the world will be under one perfect reign. God Bless.

  10. Lol, while it does sound like a complete load of c**p, I think the theory behind it may have some truth to it. No one can deny that our species has evolved in the last 200 years or so. Even in the last 60 years the average size of a man has gone from 5*8 to 6*0. Our body shapes have changed a great deal as well and while most of that can be contributed to over eating or lack of excercise, our DNA eventually will adapt that as the norm and pass that on to our children just as it does everything else. So while this guy may be a complete kook, I think that the idea of evolution itself will become more evident as people openly discuss and explore possibilities. Remember...they thought Columbus was crazy too!!

  11. Firstly, it is crazy to compare creationism with evolution. Creationism is not scientific while evolution is. One does not need to agree with evolution, but if we are talking scientifically, creationism has no place, since it is outside the realms of science (look at a definition of modern science).

I agree that the idea of the human race evolving into two species is baloney. They list 100,000 years for humans to change into gods and goblins? That is DEFINITELY not enough time. Homo ergaster/erectus evolved around 2 million years ago, and it would resemble us both in height and in intelligence more than an ugly, dumb goblin. Also homo erectus had plenty of selective pressures, such as changing climates and diets.

Besides, were already peaked with regards to height: the earliest homo sapiens are believed to be bigger and more robust than modern humans.

  12. This is HG Wells' idea, not science.  Human beings have grown taller and shorter because of how we've eaten over the years, yes, but we haven't actually changed radically in the last hundred thousand years or so.  We adapt to the environment by making tools, etc, rather than our biology changing to make us more adaptable the way other species work.

Edited for clarity, sorry about that.

  13. I think its obvious the article was written by a man who doesn't believe in a God. And that man in his current pursuit would do things of this nature based on his own intellect , when he leaves God out of the picture. Those thoughts are coming from a depraved mind. . And this mans fantasy of things.

BUT HAVE I GOT NEWS FOR HIM ...LOL

God is in control and these things will not happen!!!!

  14. I don't think of it at all. It's a supposition, no more than that. Like the made up "animals" on that pseudoscientific show that showed things like the "rabbuck" and all that. It's just someone's imagination working overtime.

IF it were to happen, I suppose we would deal with it when it came along...but for now we have enough to deal with, what with poverty, AIDS, global warming, the destruction of our environment, crime, abuse....
