What does everyone do in the summer holidays?

I have kids aged 13 and 9 any cheap ideas on what to do?

What does everyone else do, Are all kids bored during the summer holidays?

got a back yard? get a slip-n-slide, i can't tell you how my friends and i loved to slide on that thing, great memories... lol... cheap too ;-)

Just have fun it dont have to be expensive, take them to the park go for walks, picnics, camping, zoo, cycle rides. Most kids get bored at some point in the summer you just have to keep coming up with ideas, most kids like playing footy in the park or going for milkshakes or ice cream while its hot.

Yes most kids are bored. Im bored out of my mind right knowwww. Cant wait till i go college.

Yeah, kids are pretty bored during the summer.

If they have friends they could hang out with them.  Or you could treat them to a movie occasionally, take them to a picnic in the park.  Ask them what they want to do, they might have some pretty decent ideas.

When I was a little younger, all I wanted to do was go out.  Since I couldn't drive, I couldn't go anywhere and was bored out of my mind.  But I would have liked to go swimming, or to a park, have a family (or friend or neighbor) barbecue, or something that just didn't involve being cooped up inside and watching TV.

When you have so much time off, there are going to be days when the kids are bored. Because of inflation and the terrible state of the economy, people just don't have the money to spend. There are plenty of cheap and fun things to do with your kids during the holidays. Taking them to parks, beaches, arcades, theme parks, zoo's and other local attractions. Even staying at home, playing in the garden or watching some movies can pass time. However, when I was younger I was pretty much left to my own devices, and I played with other kids on my street almost everyday, and it kept me occupied. Nowadays most kids sit in and play videogames, even that can keep them occupied for a couple of hours.
