What does everyone expect out of Carl Pavano and Phil Hughes?

Question

They are both coming back around late August and early September (one will be back during the orioles series in late August)

I see Pavano start 2 games then get a career ending injury

I see Phil Hughes helping us alot in September

Another question: What happened to Bartolo Colon i heard he signed a minor league deal with the red sox in April. I havent heard from him since. Did he get injured again?

I will not be shocked if Carl Pavano returns to the Yankees, pitches lights-out for the remainder of the season, signs with another club, and pitches a Cy Young-worthy 2009, just to spite the Yankees and their fans.

I'll be angry, but not shocked.

Hughes is going to be a huge in the future. As far as this season goes, I want him to pitch, but I also don't want to rush him. If he's ready, bring in him, but don't push him. The last thing we need is more uninjury.

If the Yankees get anything out of those 2 they will be in decent shape. Colon will be back with the Sox at the end of this month.

I think Pavano might have been the most overpaid player as far as production goes in the history of the game

$40 Million over 4 years, in which i think he made 20 appearances in the MLB. $2 Million bucks every time he stepped on the mound

i honestly think he would get booed if he ever put pinstripes on this season, and wont be of any help to the rotation

Hughes can help us out and i think he will come in big in September

It is going to take less then two games before Pavano gets hurt again. Right now it's about 4 PM. Give it til 5 and he will probably get an injury that will cause him to officially be out for the rest of the season. I expect absolutely nothing from Pavano.

As for Hughes, I actually think he will be a boost for the Yankees in September. I definitely see him helping us out.
