  1. Kellerman is a idiot... i dont know why they're trying to groom hiim to be the next larry merchant. He makes comments that arent related to anything.. and one thing i noticed is that he tries to instigate **** too much. for instance.. after the casamayor - katsidis fight... casamayor said "he's not a good puncher, but he's strong".. kellerman said.. "are you saying he's not a good puncher" and basically implied that casamayor was saying that katsidis wasnt a good fighter... but what casamayor was saying was that katsidis is a good fighter, but throws wild punches...

Bottom line... ozzie ozbourne would be a better commentator.

  2. You know he is starting to grow on me like Calvin Murphy did(houstonians may get it) and i seem not to mind him as much as before.... this coming from the guy who started FukcMaxkellerman.com and all.... my thing with Kellerman was he showed his biased to often in the past and never seemed to call a honest match, he would only point out what the boxer he predicted was going to win was doing and nothing else..... he also showed alot of arrogance and a lack of respect when talking to the other hosts, especially when they didnt agree with him ..... Saying that Max seems to have watched some of the tapes , maybe got some advice From Mr Merchant, or just stop doing Coke before shows because he seems to be a lot more knowledgeable and less arrogant...i will say he does like to stir things up and instigate a little, like the other night in the interview, but like THor says Kellerman just seems like a Boxing fan thats gets alittle excited sometimes and wants to see the best boxers fight...i still think he is a pansy now but hes growing on me

  3. Max is sometimes over the top but still rather listen to him then alot of others out there.

  4. I like him he shows alot of enthusiasm about the fights, he does a good job of informing and he basically loves boxing, yes i do think he is a good analysis.

  5. i like him

  6. I like kellermen hes cool , I mean hes no larry merchant but hes  alright. Sometimes he can get a little annoying though when he repeats himself too much or starts to over use certain words or phrases over and over again.

  7. he's small, has big eyes and a loud booming voice that is quite annoying...i'd rather see/hear cats in heat.

  8. I really like him. he has learned from the best, and is a real student of the art.  also, i like the fact that when he is wrong, he will admit it. very good commentator

  9. he's knowledgeable about the game he does his home work.

  10. I guess he rubs a lot of people the wrong way but to me he is like a little kid in a toy store...He is thrilled and excited to be around the sport and I like his energy. When he was on Friday Night Fights with Brian Kenny I thought he did an admiral job then he seemed to be hosting every sports show around jumping from network to network. I think he belongs in boxing and does a decent enough job. He definitely does his homework and knows about the business even the early years. Just my thoughts it is probably about 50/50 for and against him in this section.

  11. He's c**p, just a gushing fan rather than a serious commentator.  Seriously, I could be as useless, and I'd do the job gratis, for a free ringside view and all the shrimp bisque I can eat from the nearest Vegas buffet.

  12. Kellerman is average RINGSIDE and usually outright Wrong in his analysis.  As a host behind a desk doing analysis, he does a great job.  His analysis of the live  fights and fighers is usually way off.  Ill take Lennox Lewis, Emauel and Larry Merchants opinions anyday.....  I agree, he jumps on bandwagons and gets overly excited while ringside...

For instance, he went out and said Katsidis stoppage was questionable.   HUH?  What was he talking about?

  13. I would rather see Mike Tyson doing the commentary than Kellerman, the little weasel makes my flesh crawl.

  14. I may be in the minority with this, but I really like Max and I prefer him over Larry.  I really dislike Larry because of the way that he treats the fighters in the post-fight interviews as well as his analogies (which are stupid), and it seems like he's drunk all the time.  With Max, he knows the sport just as well as Larry does and he knows how to differentiate the true champs from the paper ones (not like the Showtime announcers) and I think he does a better job of commentating than Larry as well.  He also manages to ask the questions that we want to hear from the fighters, but he doesn't do it in a disrespectful manner like Larry.  I long for the day when Max fully takes over for Larry and I don't have to listen to his dumb analogies.

  15. Hes a very good man i like him a lot. He will replace larry merchant because his contract expires this year. i will miss him

  16. Max has had my vote from the very start.

He's charismatic, clean-cut and most of all quite knowledgeable on the sport of boxing..

Is the consummate  boxing commentator of today and tomorrow.. Doing a great job!

    More power to him.

      Yes, I like him!
