my mom said that my father was a french descent what does that mean? Am i half french because my mom is black and my dad is french can someone tell me what am i ? please

It means that you have French ancestry. You are "descended", at least in part, from French people.

If your dad's family is 100% from France, then yes, you would be half french. A person's descent is where their family has came from, or descended from. If your dad is not 100% French, you would still be from French descent but not 50%.
