  1. Benefits provided by your employer in a form other than cash.  Cars, laptops, some meals, parking etc.  In Australia they are subject to a special tax regime called Fringe Benefit Tax with its own rules.  The rate is generally lower than the rate of income tax, but if you are considering a salary sacrifice in return for fringe benefits you should consult an accountant.  The rules can be a bit tricky.

  2. Additional benefits perks that one hasn't asked for or don't normally come with an offer (hotel stay, Job, vacation, ect)

  3. Your employer may give you a Laptop Computer, or a company Car with Petrol allowance.  Pay your Phone bill etc.,

Things like that are normally classed as "Fringe Benefits".  The employer normally then pays the tax on those benefits.

  4. Extra things to make the job look sweeter and sometimes to keep you there. Not a bad thing at all.

  5. It is BS free benefits that an employer will offer you most of the time it is Bull like free uniform shirts are a cold drink on the house that sort of thing
