  1. Real estate salesperson license mean that you're working under the direction of a real estate broker to assist buyers and/or sellers.  It also means that you are legally allowed to be compensated financially for providing these services.  You must be licensed in many States to be compensated for performing Real Estate Services. It is illegal for instance in the state of Florida for an unlicensed person to be paid a commission by a licensee.

Yes, you can buy and sell your own properties.

    Good luck!

  2. You can sell homes for other people, legally, I might add. By buying directly, I really don't understand exactly what you're wanting, but if you mean buying a house from someone that has a house listed with a realtor, you must contact a realtor, preferably not the same one, to act as your buying agent. I wouldn't take it lightly. The fees in my area are @$250 or so for the class, $50-100 for the state licensing test, then there's a $1,100 fee for access to the local MLS as well as other business start up costs, etc.

  3. It's a license that allows you to act as a representative to a buyer and/or seller in a residential real estate transaction, under the direction of a mortgage broker who runs the office (you get to be one of the flunkies in the real estate office who babysits open houses).
