What does getting stung by a bee feel like?

and is there a difference in the feeling of getting stung by a bee a wasp or a hornet?

  1. Being stung by a bee is like taking a strong shot of liqour. Burns at first, then feels warm and kinda good. Wasps just hurt and swell badly.


  2. dunno but I imagine it hurts like h**l - some people are allergic to their stings..

  3. A bee sting, given that the stinger comes off in your skin, has more of a burn to it, since the sac that delivers the poison comes off with it. A wasp's sting is sharper and more immediate, whereas a bee's sting lingers longer.

    All from personal experience, of course. I've managed to step on both bees and wasps while in my bare feet.
