well, my point is.................

you have a bunch of guys talking about how Mexico has beat the USA 70 times and the USA has only won something like 25 so therefor they are better. I don't see how winning 50 times in a row 50 years ago means they are better now.

  1. It has everything to do with NOW if they (FIFA, CAS, etc.) would only correct the mistakes of the past. Both 34 and 38 were tampered with by Facists (surprise surprise). FIFA just refuses to acknowledge it. Some idiot even told me that the influence of Facism on the sport was fair and not illegal. If mistakes were made in the past, why not correct them?

  2. If the world cup winners or 1934 are still playing that would be something to see as they would be 92 to 94 years old or older this is estimating that they would have 18 - 20 years when they won the cup.

  3. Yes they are...

  4. Its history, and I don't mean that as if saying "oh its gone, forget about it", I mean it like it is part of our world and still part of us today.  It may not mean much when a match is being played, for example Mexico beating five-time champion Brazil in last edition's Copa America, but you're likely to say Brazil is one of the greatest footballing nations in the world because they HAVE won the world cup a record five times, meanwhile you can't say the same about Mexico.
