What does he whom love touches not, walks in darkness mean?

i was just wondering how you interpret this quote. its confusing to me and i need help.

it means that in life, a person who does not experience love is a loser.....this quote is showing us all the beauty of the element of love itself. whereas a person who does not experience love in his life at all is expressed as being walking in the darkness.....which is true......love is undeniably the most important element in the life of human being.....it matters not how bad someone looks like o how evil is oneself,but still every individual deserve to be loved......i leave the rest to you.......

someone whom love never touches(never feels love for someone or is loved by someone) will walk in darkness( have a sad and dreary life). That is what I get out of it. Hope this helps.:-)

i think it give full credit to what love is

love touches u and u look beyond the darkness of ur soul. You stop thinking about the pitiable self u are and you begin to see others pain. u begin to give them that love u were touched by and slowly u evolve outta ur darkness

It means a person who lives life without love is lost, not living life to its fullest -- or even at all.

I think it means those that aren't loved are lonely. That's what I get from it.

When love enters your life, if you are so lucky, it turns on the lights of wisdom and emotional awareness.  You become aware of how you feel much more, how others feel around you, what makes people happy and unhappy and all that.

On the other hand, people who dont' experience love walk around "in the dark" - meaning they miss all that.
