  1. Really, really, really big?

    Gen 1:14

    Then God said, "Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night, and let them be for signs and for seasons and for days and years;

    Deu 4:19

    "And beware not to lift up your eyes to heaven and see the sun and the moon and the stars, all the host of heaven, and be drawn away and worship them and serve them, those which the LORD your God has allotted to all the peoples under the whole heaven.

    This is interesting (Isa 44:24)

    Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, and the one who formed you from the womb,

    "I, the LORD, am the maker of all things,

    Stretching out the heavens by Myself

    And spreading out the earth all alone,

    as physicists believe that the universe itself is expanding.

    Jer 31:37

    Thus says the LORD,

    "If the heavens above can be measured

    And the foundations of the earth searched out below,

    Then I will also cast off all the offspring of Israel

    For all that they have done," declares the LORD.

    This is a contradictory example:  here, Yahweh is saying that the heavens *cannot* be measured and, so, he will not cast off all the offspring of Israel.  This is the best verse I could find - the heavens are immeasurable.  If you draw the dimensions as described in the bible, it will look like - well - like it does when you look at it.
