I'm considering health insurance through my employment and need help with the forms sent to me.

  2. Hospital indemnity is insurance where a specified benefit amount is paid out in the case that you are hospitalized. The benefit is paid directly to you to cover your out of pocket expenses that are incurred due to the hospital stay... such as loss of income, anything that your health insurance doesn't cover, travel, etc.
