  1.  out bound out of customs just mean that your item has cleared security and should be deliverd very soon

  2. US customs, can hold any item imported even if it's for personal use.

If Customs decide that the item is subject to duties then they will transfer the item to a holding warehouse, during this time they will inform you of the amount of duties required to release the item(s).

Usually by mail, you will also be required to pay for the storage of the item(s).

Sometimes the item might be released with condition that the import duties are to be collected by the Post office prior to delivery of the product.

If you do not make the required payment, they will seize all the property being held, and auction it off to cover the duty amounts.

Other times the items will simply be released without import tax,if it appears a truelly being a gift, and or a sample product.

  3. it means that your item has cleared the customs. And has been delivered to you. It will arrive in about 1-2 days.
