  2. I think the word you're referring to is Indio. It's a term used when the PGA Tour is in Palm Desert, CA for the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic. Indio is a small city southeast of Palm Desert and it's common knowledge to members of The Classic Club, PGA West, La Quinta CC and Silver Rock, that all putts break toward Indio.
