What does indirect signature mean?

because my mom bought something online and it is supposed to come on a day she's working. Does it mean she has to sign it? cause she's not going to be there.

  2. Indirect signature means that the delivery guy can go over to one of the neighbors, the building manager, etc. and get them to sign for the package if no one's home...

    basically anyone can sign for it.

    the other types are direct signature and adult signature.
