I am French...I think about the fashion, to the beautiful women, to the happiness, to the united family, to the art, to the great cities, to the food, Armani, Versace, Pasta, Pandoro, Rome, Milan, Florence, Pisa, Venice, Rimini, Genoa, Naples.... is a very beautiful country

yeah, the mafia is the last thing i would think of - thats more like new york.  when i think of italy i think of beautiful florence that stole my heart, historic rome with so much to see, charming spoleto with the small town charm, and everything else inbetween.  i think of the nice people that were so helpful during our visit, the delicious pizza and gelato that was lunch every day and how i miss italy every day and count down to when i return.
