  1. It depends on where you do the driving and what you drive.

In NYC we are up to $3.50 for super gas.  In NJ it is about $.35 cheaper.  And on a gallon most car will do about 20 miles (overall).

    You could do the math.

    Good Luck

  2. depends where u live ($/gal.)& what car (mpg) you drive...

    cheers!

  3. Gas is actually only  a very small part of the cost of driving.

I remember reading that the average is now 49 cents a mile.   Of course, it would vary widely depending on what car you're driving.

  4. Also, don't forget about wear and tear on your car. Brake pads, tires, belts, hoses, maintenance, etc. My best guess would be a range of .40 to .80 per mile depending on what you drive and how you drive.

  5. What car? how fast? what weather? what terrain? what gas? what # of passengers?

Answer these and other questions and you'll get a good answer.

  6. Also "how" you drive in addition to the things helper said.  This will greatly affect fuel mileage which is a large part of the cost per mile.
