What does it cost to import a horse from the UK to the US?

i am currently looking at a few new horses to buy, and they currently live in england. if anyone knows how much it would cost to get them to the US, i would be very thankful.

The international shipping agent will sort out all paperwork & help you.. When we shipped out prize warmblood stallion from Europe  it was about $12,000  Don't forget about  documents, quarantine etc.

Although I have had horses shipped from several other places in the US I have never had a horse shipped Internationally.

So I went online and found some websites that give free quotes!

Wow $12,000? That is PRICEY! YIKES, I would look into these other haulers as well it seems that they are way TOO Expensive! Maybe you could look for a horse in USA or Canada?
