  1. no as long as you have practised, it cost £30 for theory and £52.50 for practical I think

    You don't HAVE to have a lesson before the test, it's not a legality - but it would be highly unwise not to do so. Also - how are you going to get to the test centre - walk? Bus?

    I personally don't think I would let a pupil go for their test in my car if they didn't have the hour before the test to warm up, as I think their chances of passing would be greatly reduced - you need that drive before your test, to make mistakes and get them out of the way and fresh in your mind so that you don't do them again in 30 minutes time when you are actually on your test. I couldn't think of anything worse than having to get myself to the test centre and going out for my driving test having not driven since my last lesson!

    what reason is there for not having the lesson before? Because if it's money, then surely you are better off spending an extra £20+ and having a good chance of passing, than not, failing and having to spend another £56.50 on your test, and the use of the car again, and any more lessons you have between tests!! Short term gain - potential long term loss!
