  1. Honestly genius is as susceptible to any human emotion as every other human.

Perhaps a genius is more prone to self delusion. I would say that is true in many cases.

  2. I know I would think you're an a*****e for thinking you were one.

  3. if you need to ask you wont understand the answer.

  4. Imagine yourself in a giant hedge maze. Now imagine yourself taller. What is most funny about intelligence is that intelligent people feel so superior because they have a tiny bit more perspective on the maze, but two people, one on others shoulders can run circles around any genius. Most smart people have a hard time working cooperatively unless they tremendously respect the person whom they are climbing on the shoulders of. This is why I say that smart people are the dumbest people I know.

    And Yahoo Saith:

"Tip: Be as specific and detailed as you can. Use any personal experience or knowledge you might have."

"You can use research to help support your answer."

"Hmm...it looks like you have a lot of punctuation."

"Oops! It looks like you have 1 misspelling(s)."

    "Please correct your spelling."

  5. Alone. Unless you connect with Mensa.. then you have a chance to meet other people with similar ideas & it can be a blast..!!

Also, I am a Termite (TOPS)    There are several other groups out there. See: http://www.polymath-systems.com/intel/hi...

And.. it is very hard to feel 'free' discussing world events for fear of the ignorance that is spreading throughout our country.

  6. No one understands you, but you delight in your uniqueness

  7. always pick someone or something that is greater than you to strive for, no matter how high you get.

Admiration takes effort. And a clear idea of who you are right now and who you want to become.

  8. Intelligence is like a kind of vision.  It lets you see things that other people cannot.  Connections between ideas.  Intricacies of detail.  Plato described it as seeing the 'inner beauty' of all things.

So it's not to hard to imagine the difference.  It's the difference between peering around at dusk versus noon.  You can pick things out that other people cannot, whether it is in the realm of ideas or the physical world.

Keep in mind, too, that many people, no matter how intelligent, are as limited as anyone else in areas outside of their interest or speciality.  They can often understand what it is to be 'normal' even if most normal people don't quite understand genius.

  9. A great sadness that you cannot share what you see with most people.  Isolation, you learn how to deal with it and reach out to others who share your viewpoints.  Reduces you choices of mates you would like to have children with and be intimate with.   Wry amusement at the stupid things that people do.   Disgust at how people waste their lives.   Hope that eventually everyone will be able to improve the IQ of their children by genetic engineering.  These are the sorts of emotions you might feel.

  10. I wouldn't know.  Probably, it's not one way or another.  But from what I hear, it doesn't sound charming.

  11. My brother a TESTED genius used to say it was hard to relate to almost everyone else.  They didn't get him or see what he saw.

As he aged he said this feeling faded as he explored the planet.

  12. The world around me makes me ....well.........feel like a genius. As simple as that! Yeah that works, good.

  13. I'll let you know as soon as my self-produced test results come back from my private lab?  I estimate this upcoming Thursday at 9:00am right after my morning Rubic's Cube Work-out  ;P

  14. Full of flaws.  I believe it to be a prison and not liberating.  Ignorance is bliss and Beavis and Butthead are free.

  15. The world looks smaller and you feel constipated.

  16. Upsides:

    Feeling Knowledgeable.

    Feeling Unique.

    High Potential For Success.

    Downsides:

    Delusions of Grandeur.

The world seems empty and useless because if you know too much, then you begin to feel inept.

Depression, because life is actually less fulfilling if you look at it from an intelligent perspective.

The less there is to learn from life, the more apathetic you become.

Some people have a claim to genius when it is truly indeterminable whether or not you are a genius.

  17. Well being a genuis myself, the world around me is very frustrating.  It seems to me the answers to the world's problems are very simple and easy to solve, but people just overly complicate things for the sake of trying to make themselves appear smarter then they are.  In essence most of the world's problems are a result of people creating their own problems.  And once people realize this, working towards a solution is rather simple, yet people refuse to acknowledge they are part of the problem the continue doing whatever they do anyways and just go on complaining.  Anyways to answer your question, being a genius and livign on this earth is very frustrating.
