In the original movie "Frankenstein", when the good doctor yells "It's Alive, It's Alive!". I think the monster felt like sh*t, because he kept growling and moaning. But then the monster finds happiness while listening to the old blind man play his violin, and he enjoys playing with the little girl who he eventually kills.

So I would assume that being alive can sometimes feel bad, and sometimes feel good.

It's a wonderful thing! Even though some of the things in life can be very harsh we can learn from it and can be more professional about it. Mostly I can hate and love it. But the things I hate about living is hearing bad news, when people aren't taking care of places (environments), and hearing people go through abuse physically and mentally. There's more to it. But you have to love the world, you get to meet the person you love.

It feels like you should just happily die because your human nature cannot fully understand the beauty of life, and having that small taste of it... it is overwhelming and beautiful, maybe even a little scary.

To me it feels like a struggle. a struggle with this body and a struggle against time.

so many things you want to accomplish while you can, yet you get to accomplish so little. in that respect life feels like a deadline, mocking me, an hourglass, a menacing force lurking, waiting to say "I told ya so"

It's having a sense of completeness about you. Whether that be the rush from conquering your fears, finding true love, or having a self-realization. It's different for each person, but until you find your own calling that completes you, you'll never know what it feels like to be alive. Some people never find what it is that makes them live. So even though they cease to exist on this earth, they don't really die, they just move on.

    Close your eyes. Take a deep breath in, and let it out. Imagine yourself in a field of green green grass. The sun is shining; it beats down on your face and shoulders. It's warm and comforting. There's a slight breeze that rustles your hair. Birds are chirping; beezing are buzzing.

You can hear the sound of a river close by. The sound of the water as it slowly moves down. The sound of fish jumping in it.

You're surrounded by life.

That's what it feels like to be alive.

Being alive; you can't describe it. You gotta live it.

It's good, it's bad. It's happy, it's sad. It's everything, yet it's nothing; all at once. It's life.

You aren't really alive though, unless you've chosen to actually live ;)
