  1. can you imagine clothes pegs attached all over your body. the lips are the worst.

  2. It's physically painful. It doesn't even feel cold; it STINGS.

  3. Excruciating pain

  4. It's so cold, you basically feel numb

  5. Very, very, very, very, very, very, very COLD! lol.

My my hand to my elbow was numb for like, 10 minutes or soemthing. That's probably an event that I won't repeat. heehee

  6. It depends on whom you ask, if you ask seals, polar bears, and other polar animals well equiped with thick layer of blubber under their skins, or thick water proof furs, they will tell you "what freezing water?,hah-hah-hah"..they feel just fine swimming among the ice floes. But if you or I would fall into icy water, Lord forbid!...we would die of exposure within minutes.

  7. cold. to the say the least..  I lived in fairbanks,  alaska... temp one night was - 65... below zero.    The could can take your breath away....   also saw 10 foot snow drifts.

  8. *EDIT*

sorry, I mis-read your question, I thought you said 'weather', instead of 'water'.  So I answered the question according to freezing weather...oh well....

In Michigan we get both extremes, as do many other northern US states.  We get some nights at -15 below...and some days at 100 or so.  The cold "goes right through you" just like the old cliche.  Sometimes you just cant get warmed back up comfortably, even standing in front of the stove.    It feels like a sting, especially if there's wind.  On the other hand, very cold air feels really good to breathe in...it feels so crisp and fresh, hard to explain.  I notice literally that my lips are slower to form certain words when it's in the teens or single digit temperatures, and my hands sting easily without gloves on.  That is the worst for me, stinging hands.

  9. ok imagine that your in water thats as cold as ice....wel there you go lol, idk, fill a bowl with ice, then water, and stick your hand in and see for your self
