  1. well ur getting shot by a real gun hhhmmmmmmmm i think it would hurt alot

  2. I've been told it feels like getting hit by a 1,000 pound rock wherever it hits you and it tears your flesh like a cut but worse

  3. I heard it tickles.

  4. Didn't hurt at first till i calmed down! I was shot in the left hand with a 9mm ,It shattered my middle knuckle took out some of the meat in my palm and required 21 internal stitches and  54 external stitches to sew me back together. All in all it took 9 months of therapy and rehab to regain the use of my hand again And yes it HURT like He22

  5. I read a news story not long ago. ill try to parafrase it the best i can

A women at the Atalanta Airport allerted authorities yesterday when she noticed one the passengers waiting to board was bleeding. the man was attempting to hide the wounds and refused medical attention initialy. he was brought to security for questioning when it was discovered that he was suffering from three gunshot wounds to the chest stomach and leg. the man claimed he had been playing poker with a female card shark earlier that night with a woman in florida, and she had shot him after he accused her of cheating. The man said he then boarded a plan and was waiting for a connecting flight in Atlanta when his injuries were discovered. The man apperently claimed he did not want to lose out on his non-refundable ticket. the mans story later changed and authorites are unsure of what really happened. police are attempting to locate the woman.

i read that i was like wow. thats nuts. i guess it must have been a small caliber handgun, but the article didnt say. i serriosly doubt you could get shot in the chest with a 9mm or higher and then still be walking arround 12 hours later. like others have said, many people dont even relize they have been shot at first. also with the vast majority of cases the gun shot does not prevent the person from standing or walking arround. it is the shock of beoing shot, and the expectation of not being able to stand that makes people fall down after they relize what has happened.

I got shot in the leg with a gamo hunter extreme pellet rifle, the bullet is still in my leg. it didnt hurt too much but it bled a ton for such a tiny wound. i was still able to walk arround fine. i figured it out later and determined that the .177 caliber round going 1200 fps has about two fifths the energy of a 22 lr round. so i ALMOST know how it feels to be shot by real bullet.

  6. like he said, theres a shock value to being shot and penetrated by a bullet, as it is a clean entry and sometimes is not noticed due to the shock of gunfire.... the pain is much different from a bb gun or paintball as they can only break the skin and bruise at most, causing a more instantaenous short lasting pain. once the bullet wound is noticed, the pain can and usually is much greater and also deadly

  7. I don't know what it feels like but, the more you know about real guns the less you want to know what it feels like to be on the wrong end of a bullet.

  8. ive never got shot by one but i watch this show called i survived and its where people get attacked or hurt or whatever, and they live to tell the story and most of them said it hurts for alittle bit but they cant feel it because the pain is so bad it numbs the area they got shot so you cant really feel it, I got shot by a bebe gun to lol in the head by my sister, shes a meanie

  9. I have been shot 3 times. It hurts more later, because when one is shot, his adrenaline increases and he goes into shock to some extent. I felt a burning and stabbing sensation plus some impact from the bullet. Some bullets feel like slaps, while others feel like punches.

  10. The first thing you'll feel isn't the pain but it will be the hard punch like strike from the kinetic energy of the bullet.  The next thing you'll feel is not the pain, but a very hot like sulfur burn.  Finally, (depending on where you've been hit), is going to be either a severe numbness or the pain.  Normally, when it round strikes nerve endings, muscle tissue or bone, that's usually where the pain will arise from.

    Hope this helps,

  11. like being hit by a fluffy pink pillow :D.... wat do u think? itd freakin hurt

  12. Sometimes you may not even realize it until later. If you do it's usually a burning sensation.

  13. An atheist friend of mine was shot four times during the Viet Nam War.  I've always suspected that it was 'friendly fire' because he was shot in the back.  His first reaction was to exclaim: "Oh my God!  I've been shot!"

Years later conversing with him about this incident our dialog went something like this:

I asked, "Why did you exclaim 'OMG?' Didn't you tell me that you are an atheist?"

    "Ya know what I mean!"

"Did you call for a Priest to administer the Last Rites?"

"Of course NOT, I'm an atheist!"

    "But you said 'OMG!'"

    "It was just an expression!"

"Tell me, did you feel anything?"

"I felt like I was leaving my body."

"You mean your soul was returning to the Maker?"

"Cut it out!  You know I don't believe in God!"

"But you believe in the soul that traditionally returns to the source of life?"

"You're not gonna drop it are you!"

    "So what did you feel?"

    "I didn't feel anything!"

"I thought you said you felt like you were leaving your body?"

"I'm not talking to you about this anymore!"

    **************************************...

The only other person I know of who tells me he's been shot also reported not feeling anything.  Nor did he report crying out "OMG!"  Strangely enough he was a Christian who has since passed away.  I hope that helped.

  14. First, BB guns are real guns. They fire a projectile and are capable of doing serious damage under the right circumstances. Secondly Im sure if those people were hit fatally if they did get up and run it was sheer adrenaline working. From what I have seen, it hurts liek heck to get shot. Firearms dont jsut poke a hole when they go in, energy from the projectile creates a cavity as the bullet travels through. It actually doe alot more damage than you can see.

  15. many times people don't even realize they are shot until they notice the blood or they die

  16. Hollywood has fooled people into believing that being shot will not only kill you right away, but also knock you off your feet and throw you ten feet backwards.

It's simply not true. Being shot in the head and heart may kill you instantly. Being shot in the spine will stop you instantly.

However, most gun shot wounds are survivable if treated in time and properly.

Most bullets are designed to expand on contact and end up doing tremendous damage internally. Causing major bleeding and tissue ripping. Typically, gun shot victims die of internal blood loss. Which can take several minutes to occur.

There have been cases where victims of crimes have shot their attacker and the attacker was still able to kill his victim. Police arrive and there are two dead people.

As too what it feels like? Who the heck cares. Just hope it never happens to you.

  17. Believe me its no picnic.* Its not something you would want to experience especially if you survive it.*

  18. it hurts but adrenaline probably masks the pain and allows you to run away

  19. i would think it hurts

  20. "Getting Shot Hurts"
