What does it feel like when you jump of a cove and hit the water?

On the 4th of July, we are going to Dragon Cove( Lake Michigan). I am FINALLY old enough to jump off the cove. With my favorite cousins, we will jump off together. I am just curious what it feels like to hit the water.

Personally, I love it. As you're falling, it's like a huge rush, and then depending on how you hit the water, the jump ends differently: If you hit with not much resistance, then you'll go right under, if you're arms and legs are spread slightly you'll have more resistance, and you won't go as far under. What It feels like to actually hit the water is...kinda hard to explain, it happens so quickly. And it all depends on how high the jump is from!

depends on how high it is from the water. the highest i've ever jumped off was 10 meters. about 30ft. basically you don't want to look down. jump far out and point ur feet so ur feet don't smack the water. its a lot of fun but it feels like ur not in control of ur body which is kind of scary. sometimes it feels like it takes forever to reach the water. you feel so light in the air. its amazing. have fun :]
