My love is against me, and I am far from home. I deployed and left her, but she says she hates me for other reasons, and I can't prove that she still loves me, or that I'm worth her love from here. It hurts, and I'm so far from home.

  1. Well love and hate are two sides of the same coin... Her "hate" is how she is communicating to you her frustrations but it seems to me there is love in her for you.

The difficulty is that you are not home and i dont know for how long, nor how far it is. At least try one trip home or invite her and bring her to where you are as an opportunity to heal wounds.

Even if you two depart, doing that in good terms will be very healing.

  2. It hurts because you care. If it didn't hurt, then you'd have to wonder why you were with her anyway. It's going to hurt when someone we care about does something we don't like.

Sorry to hear your story. I hope your path ahead is brighter.

  3. She says she hates you and you wonder that you can't prove that she still loves you.

Welcome to dump city now get over it.

  4. Why does she hate you? Does it really matter? Probably not. All you can do now is try to stay busy so that you cant worry about her. Set new goals for yourself (Ex. build up abs, increase cardio, read a book) or whatever you like to do to keep your mind off of her. Focus on you and know that one day you will find bigger and better things than her.
