What does it look like when a cockatiel throws up?

cuz idk if mine threw up. she just shook her head and all of a sudden this stuff came flying out.

Thats not a good sign. My parakeet died after 3days of throwing up. Take your teil' to the vet.

My mini macaw chews her cud(as we call it)when she's comfortable and relaxing .It helps them to redigest thier food I think.On our bird, to be blunt, it looks like she's chewing a lugie(snot).No seeds are to be seen.No nothing but the nasty looking lugie.Its also more of a whitish color.But if she did throw up I don't think its a good thing.You need to call your vet in the morning and see what they say.

That's exactly how a cockateil throws up. Usually just seeds come flying out everywhere, it doesn't look like puke. My cockateil has done that twice since I had him (about a year now). I think that sometimes it can be normal, but if he continues to throw up, you should take him to a vet.
