Question:

What does it mean if I'm sent information to visit a college?

I sent my ACT scores to Purdue University. They immediately sent back information about their college about once a month, until now they sent information on going there for a college visit. I would like to go there but I think my GPA is just below what they are looking for and my ACT is the lowest that they accept. I just wanted to know if they keep sending me info about their college, does that mean they think I could attend their college? Or is that just because I sent them my ACT Scores?

  1. They probably put everyone who applies/ sends in scores on their mailing list.

Whether you get in will likely depend on who else is applying.

  2. It doesn't mean anything in terms of the admission process. you just got on a list. They don't really know anything about you
