He is trying to act cool.  they say that at the end of a yoga session.  i think it means something like "now go have a nice day" or peace be with you"

'Namaste' means something to the affect of, "I honor the unity between us."  It is also used in India today as a greeting, sort of like "Hello", and a gesture that may or may not accompany it that involves clasping the palms of one's hands together in front of one's chest and bowing, and when used as a noun refers specifically to this gesture.
