Does it mean that it is currently traveling to where I am?

  1. It's on it's way to you.

  2. UPS uses "in transit" for a package that has been accepted and is on the move. It means that it might go from one station to another or have left the last station and will be on the truck to be delivered. A package can go in transit several times depending on the distance it must travel.

  3. In Transit means it is on its way to you. But if it's making more than one stop, it can also mean it is on its way to its next stop- but still on its way to you.

  4. Just what it says. It's on the way. Probably doing both in the process.

  5. In Transit is a general term meaning its somewhere between the shipping and receiving sort locations of UPS. Depending on far its being shipped, it may be sorted, unloaded and reloaded on a different truck several times. Once it gets loaded on a brown UPS package car, it will say "out for delivery" This means you will get it that day.

  6. This means that it is somewhere between the shipper and the reciever. This includes layover time in a UPS terminal. You should be able to track the package online if you have a tracking number.

  7. its on the road, plane, however it gets delivered...

  8. It means that it is someplace between the last location that scanned it and it's destination.

  9. it can mean both-it is on the way to the next shipping station in the route-or its on its way to you, sometimes you can track the listing of places its been and see when it left the station closest to you

  10. it means that your package is being transferred to another route, on its way to you.

    good luck.

  11. It means that your package is traveling to the next UPS station. If it says "Out for Delivery" then it is on the way to you.
