  1. depends on who's saying it

  2. They have a lot of personality. There is just something about them that everyone takes note. They have bucket loads of energy, they are extremely fun, wise or intresting, or everyone wants to know them. Intense people are usually the ones who walk into a room and everyone looks at them.

  3. It usually means that their focus is extremely strong, as in a feeling that they are almost obsessed by something, be it a relationship, or a project, they are usually too interested in the object of their attention, to notice life going on around them, this may be quite unsettling to women in a relationship, if they are the object that the intensity is focused on...it can lead to a feeling of being trapped by them...

         Remember the poets words, (William Blake),

              He who binds to himself a joy

              Does the winged life destroy;

              But he who kisses the joy as it flies

              Lives in eternity's sunrise

    To often, we are the same, we hold others  to close for their own good, in our intensity, our fear of losing them, that we destroy the very thing we desire the most.....when often allowing the hearts objects that very freedom, is the way we allow our hearts objects and our hearts desires to flourish and grow ......

  4. It's not a compliment. It usually implies that someone has a lot of "drama". That person would not be considered  happy or carefree. My mother has called me this before, but she doesn't realize, I get it from her.
