  1. i went to a manget high school for 2 years then left.

its pretty much a school that specializes in certain subjects.for example there might be an arts magnet school.you still have to take math and science and a forein language and etc. but you also get alot more art classes and the art classes are alot more thorough and you have more options.theres also mat and science magnet schools as well as humanities magnet schools.

i would reccomend going to a magnet school though. they brainwash you into thinking that you are better than everyone else and look down on the regular schools. thats wh i droped out

  2. The reason that it is called a magnet school is because they take students regardless of the neighborhood school. They have a certain subject and take students from all over the district.

  3. Magnet schools are public schools that focus on a theme or area of study.

    Performing Arts Magnet

    Honors Magnet

    Science Magnet

    etc

  4. it means it earned an award for being a good school for academics etc.

  5. A magnet school is a school that attracts talent because they have special programs or are just exceptional in one way or another.  Maybe they attract tech students because they have a good computer program, have programs for students interested in art/music/dance, or they have International Baccalaureate classes and students across the county go there for that.
