What does it mean if the grouped mean (pun not intended) fits into the median group?

Umm does it show the data is evenly spread or something? does it show anything at all?

  1. Yes your data is evenly distrubuted in this case. The curve created should be a symmetrical bell shape.

    Generally speaking-- the larger numbers of samples (n) = the more the median will conform to the mean, and outliers will have less effect on the mean and median.
