Question:

What does it mean if you dream of being in either a bathrobe or towel outside?

I had this dream a couple of times and I'm just wondering what it means. I will dream of just being outside the house or walking somewhere and I'm wearing a bathrobe or only a towel and it doesn't seem to be a big deal to me other than I'm not wearing a regular outfit. I know I'm wearing a towel or bathrobe in public but somehow it doesn't seem really indecent. And no pedestrians are looking at me weird either. What does this mean? And please no funny comments. Thank you.

  1. It means that you are either embarrassed about something... or you just came out of the shower ;)! i really dont know but i just told someone else that it is your choice for the anser to your dream! I hope you find out! Good Luck

  2. Deep down you find clothes cumbersome and don't like dressing up.  You prefer casual attire and don't like having to be so stiff and formal in your everyday life or job because it is not really you.

  3. This may be related to your question about blocking p**n on your computer.  Not only do the family ask to use your computer and spend time looking at p**n, they are messing with your private world when they go on your computer.  My computer is just how I like it, and and I want anyone looking at p**n on it, or risking it to invasion by viruses, or getting into my stuff.  So, maybe you feel like you're "not quite dressed" for company when it comes to your computer.  You feel exposed and invaded... not like if someone had actually seen you naked, but close.  They don't think it's a big deal, and you try not to, but you still don't feel quite "coverd".. you still feel "exposed" when they use your computer.

To some people a computer is just a toy, or a machine. To others of us, it is a private journal, our checkbook, our main tool of communication... an extension of our brain.  Not everybody understands and respects that.

  4. To me it just sounds like you are comfortable in social settings and you do not worry about a lot of the conformities that most people worry about.  Deep down, you notice the differences between you and most folks, but do not consider these differences to necessarily be a bad thing.  This is a healthy attitude, and vive le difference!

    Blessed be,

  5. Clothing

    1. Dreaming of wearing clothes that are totally inappropriate - such as wearing a bathing suit on the ski slopes - indicates circumstances in your life that require a reality check before you can move ahead. If in the dream you change your clothes, you'll be successful.

    2. A dream of being naked in public is a very common type of dream, and usually means that the dreamer feels exposed, vulnerable and at the mercy of others.

    3. Dressing yourself, especially if in fashionable clothes, indicates advancement socially and professionally. Undressing, however, indicates temporary setbacks.

    4. Dirty, soiled, or worn clothing is a warning not to take anyone's word for anything. Get the facts yourself.

    5. Tight or otherwise uncomfortable clothing hints at being involved in a prickly situation or that some situation in your life is making you uncomfortable, and you need to make some adjustments.

  6. Walking around in such skimpy attire, and no one being surprised by this, suggests that there is a lack of privacy in your life, others around you know too much about your business, are in your business too much, there is a sense of "exposure" here....maybe you need to set some boundaries...

  7. It means that you're Mr. Celphone to the rest of the world. You're see through, transparent. Invisible.

You could stroll down the street with a loin cloth and no one would take notice.

This could be how your subconscious views you in public. Thus, if you actually did this in real life, would people notice and ignore you (meaning you might as well be transparent), or would they notice you and call the police (a potentially embarrasing thing).

I'm guessing that you do not view your public persona as being anything more than "just another faceless person in the crowd."
