It could mean a lot of things usually. For example if it's a random boy at school then you must have certain feelings for him that you are suppressing and in turn your unconscious mind is picking up on them.

It's usually that important, and I know a lot of people usually will proclaim that the occurring person in their dreams they've never seen before. Most likely that's not true, you've seen them somewhere or another, your mind won't just randomly make up a person. And I'm also aware that usually the people who think that person they've never seen before that just keeps popping up in their dreams must mean that there having premonitions of some sort that they will meet them. The chances of that are very VERY slim, and most likely impossible since things don't work like that. True premonitions are of events that are important and shown to someone hoping they could be stopped.

Well there's really many reasons, it's usually best to just not think of it as anything of importance. And don't be deceived by your mind either, it can really make you believe some wack things.
