"Were you claimed or eligible to be claimed as a dependent on your Parents' NYS or Federal Tax Return in 2007?"

I Live with my parents, so I put "Yes" right? they support me to pay college?

  2. yeah sounds right to me, they can sstill claim you if your living with them and going to school

  3. If your father/mother claimed you as a supported child on his income tax so he could get reduced tax then yes, sounds right to me

  4. Yes, if you were a dependent to your parents in the 2006-2007 tax year then you would put yes. You might not get a lot of aid but if your parents are helping you then you should be fine.

  5. It is asking if you were claimed as a dependent in a household.  Or, in other words, were you being supported by someone (your parents).  

    Since you live with your parents, and most likely don't file federal/state taxes as "single", then your parents claim you as a dependent living within their household in 2007.  Your parents can verify that for you.

    So, you can put "yes" on that question.
