What does it mean on dvd decrypter when it says medium is not present?

I just finished decrypting a disk, and when I put in disc 2, it said (medium not present) at the bottom when I tried to decrypt it as well, and I could not decrypt it. If it means anything, I had not yet burned the other disc onto a dvd.

First you have to burn the first disc to a dvd, and then you can start decrypting the next disc.
